In der Serie FABRICS sieht es manchmal so aus, als würde die Frau in den Bildern, von sich selbst ein Foto machen. Tatsächlich stehe ich im Bild und erzeuge Malvorlagen. Die eigentliche Kamera
ist auf dem Stativ montiert. Mit einem App löse ich aus und kann sehen, was die Kamera sieht. Dies ermöglicht mir, bei Textilien, die in Bewegung sind, ein zielgerichtetes Beobachten des
Lichteinfalls.
In the 'FABRICS' series, it sometimes looks as though the woman in the pictures is taking a selfie. In reality, I am standing in the frame and taking the photos. The camera itself is mounted on a tripod. I use an app to take the photos and see what the camera sees. This enables me to closely observe how light falls on moving textiles.

Die Arbeiten aus der Serie „Fabrics“ erschienen mir als sehr geeignet dafür. Ich nannte die Ausstellung LISA KLEIN - FAST SCHON DA!
Denn U-Bahn Stationen sind normalerweise kein Ort an dem man verweilt. Die Menschenmassen bewegen sich von einem Ort zum anderen. Zwischen den Zügen sind sie in Eile … fast schon da oder fast

In 2023, I received an invitation from the Red Carpet Award to exhibit in the showroom at Karlsplatz underground station.
The pieces from the 'Fabrics' series seemed very well suited to this. I called the exhibition 'LISA KLEIN – ALMOST THERE!'.
After all, people don't usually linger in underground stations. Crowds move from one place to another. Between trains, they are in a hurry... almost there or almost gone... and most of them have
